I made this chest to transport my wood tools for a local class I took. The wide white pine boards had a wonderful patina from years of being used as siding for my wife's chicken coop when she was young. Simple hand dovetailing and cut nails were used in assembly.
Clenched wrought iron nails from Saugus Ironworks and a piece of leather provide the lid stop. |
