The
next project I'm tackling is a module breakdown bookcase, an idea I
saw on an episode of the "Wood-wright's shop." I don't necessarily need one that breaks
down, but the occasional move will be easier, since a full load of books
can stay on each shelf, and I wanted the challenge of building it.
The book case consists of 5 individual "boxed" shelves, of which all but the bottom one will be identical.
The carcass is made up of rabbets, dadoes, and cut nails. The nails are set in at opposing angles to help their holding power.
